Yet another Swedish municipality is set to use Trapeze System for managing the transport of citizens with special transport needs.
The municipality wanted a solution that could help streamline call taking, while also efficiently dispatching trips to drivers via the latest in-vehicle technology. To meet these requirements, the municipality has invested in a web-based software solution, including the increasingly popular app, DriverMate, which uses handheld devices to connect vehicles, the dispatch centre and the ‘back office’ in real-time.
A Swedish public transport organisation, Skånetrafiken, also uses Trapeze System for handling transport for disabled passengers, as well as school pupils with special educational needs. This organisation has realised a number of benefits from using the system. You can read about Skånetrafiken’s positive experiences here.
